By train coming from North: Get off Avignon TGV station, which has car rental service. By car surround Avignon up to the A7 Autoroute exit Avignon Sud. Then take D22 direction Apt and continue up to Gordes as described above: 38 km total. By plane to Marseille, Airport Marignane: Car rental at Marignane Airport. Drive up to Autoroute A7 direction Avignon/Lyon going north. Exit Autoroute A7 at Cavaillon and drive through Cavaillon on to the D2 direction Apt up to Coustellet. Continue D2 until Gordes as above: 80 km total.
